Lovely day today, stumbled on to this beautiful peaceful place in the heart of bedford. £12 lunch for 1 person includes drink I think that price was perfect. Portion size is good too. CHAI LATTE WAS AMAZING. They also had wifi and clean toilets.

A must visit, I know I’m coming back, easy music playing and the atmosphere is perfect, friendly helpful staff and coffee options and cakes food. Had to be my top three coffee shops of all times. Kids drinks so the family can come and even some good board games incase you fancy being competitive with friends and family. Decor is amazing. Well done to whoever designed it. 👌

Been enjoying this fabulous coffee shop since it opened years back. Gorgeous and welcoming interior, it’s the perfect place to get lost in a book with a delicious coffee. I also highly rate the smashed avo on toast 😍 Lovely friendly staff, this place is a Bedford gem

Staff are friendly here. Just one day I went and staff looked miserable and wernt as welcoming. Food amazing. Had a jacket potato. Only down fall is the jacket potato was small enough for a child to eat. Coffee was lovely.

There's two simple reasons as to why this place has become an institution for café experiences in Bedford: great produce and great atmosphere. The decor is chic, with multiple homages to classic cinema, retro technology and literature, which also includes a "wall of books". If only we could see the spines of those books to see what titles they were... The music was nice and mellow as well. All coffee is 100% fair trade, and there are dairy alternatives available, making most hot drinks suitable for vegetarians, vegans and lactose intolerant. Their cappuccino and latte are both delicious, and you can taste that the coffee beans are roasted to perfection. Gluten free options are also readily available for nearly all the food options, so my partner (who has coeliac disease) was most relieved to be able to get a bacon and egg sandwich! ✅️ It hit the spot perfectly for her. I ordered the full English and was most impressed. Piping hot, well balanced and not too greasy. Perfection! 👍 We'll be back as soon as we can.

WOW wow wowzers what a place!!!! The atmosphere is something you won't generally see with such a modern old school feeling and intuitive out of the box solutions, I'm amazed. Coffee and service quality exceeded all expectations and it's surprisingly cheap compared to most coffeeshops. Shame I'm not local, would visit every day
